COVID-19: Remdesivir – A drug to cure coronavirus patients to much extent
Finally, we are listening a news that shows hope toward betterment. One of the deadliest infectious disease named as coronavirus infection has taken millions of lives infected and dead. Recently, a drug named as Remdesivir has been introduced clinically. It has not been introduced in the market and not available for people yet. What we are listening that this drug helps people to face 11 days COVID-19 symptoms instead of 15 days. It helps to reduce pressure on chest and it mainly and perfectly attacks those enzymes in the body that help COVID-19 viruses to replicate in the body.
This replication results in the presence of millions of viruses in a human body and eats the human life through damaging lungs. Almost 1,063 people volunteered for the test. Some were tested through this drug while others were tested through placebo (dummy treatment). The drug has the ability to block virus from its reproduction that results in lungs damage.
